Built from illustration appearing in c.1920 toy making book. These charming elephants are precisely cut from high quality 1/8’ baltic birch ply and painted, with Old Fashioned Milk Paint, in the same manner as my carvings. When the wooden bars are slid side to side the elephants seesaw toward one another.

While these are modeled after historic and antique toys, they are sold as decorative collectors’ items. They should be checked for loose parts and closely monitored when handled by children.
